The Data Driven Districts Programme combines school-level data collected from the South African School Administration and Management System (SA-SAMS) with the Data Driven Districts Dashboard, an online tool that visualises learner performance data and key education metrics. By putting this real-time, quality data in the hands of education officials, they can make transformative decisions every day.
Our vision & goals
Since 2013, the DDD Programme has helped those in education uncover data-driven insights that align with their specific goals and needs, providing unique value for each user based on their role in the education system. This has positioned South Africa as a global use case for data-driven education due to the easily accessible, near real-time attendance, assessment, and education progress data for more than 22,000 schools.
